Caps vs Canes, outdoors!
In a little more than two weeks on February 18, the Caps are traveling to Raleigh to take on the Hurricanes at Carter-Finley Stadium. It should be a great time and no one tailgates like the Caniacs. But if you’re not going, no FOMO for you. We’re having our own party back in DC! We’re gathering upstairs at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern, our DC home, beginning at 6pm to take in the action on their wall-to-wall HD TVs. There is plenty of space and everyone can join in the raffle for door prizes, but if you email me at info@capsroadcrew.com with an estimate of how many are in your party, all your pals will get an extra raffle ticket. We’ve acquired some interesting swag during the Pause and are eager to move it from our home to yours. The fans in Raleigh may have a good time at their fanfest, but they won’t have Old Man Stilwell’s Chili, amazing Smashburgers, or hot, crispy wings while watching the game.
