The CapsRoadCrew will be hitting the road by bus traveling
to Manhattan to see the Caps take on Mark Messier and the
New York Rangers at the world famous Madison Square Garden
Arena on Saturday, January 26, 2002 at 1:00pm...
The CRC will make arrangements for bus transportation and
group tickets. Unfortunately, due to the great demand for
tickets to this game, we will not be able to provide tickets
to those who do not travel on the bus with the Crew.
Current plans- The Crew will be meeting at a yet to be determined
location at 6:30am on the 26th and the bus will leave no later
than 6:45am. We'll arrive in New York City around 12:00, just
in time to head inside and catch warmups before the 1:00pm
drop of the puck. If majority opinion permits, we may stay
in NY after the game to catch dinner at either the All-Star
Cafe or the ESPNzone before returning to the D.C. area (arrival
time would be around midnight). Otherwise the Crew bus will
return to the D.C. area immediately following the game (expected
arrival in D.C. would be 9pm). While the exact cost of the
trip has yet to be determined, the estimated cost for the
trip should be around $125 per person ($45 bus expense and
$80 for the game ticket). No extra fees or money over the
cost of the bus and game tickets will be charged. You may
bring your own food and drink on the bus (coolers will be
provided for your convenience). There is no smoking allowed
on the bus and time constraints will most likely prevent us
from making any stops on the way down. The bus is equipped
with a restroom and video/tv units.
Due to the constraints faced in getting group tickets, trip
reservations must be placed by Friday, August 31, 2001 at noon. |
