The CapsRoadCrew will be traveling to Long Island
to watch the Caps battle the New York Islanders and their newest
acquisitions Alexei Yashin and Michael Peca at the Nassau Veterans
Memorial Coliseum (aka the Mausoleum) on Tuesday, November 27,
2001 at 7pm...
The CRC will make arrangements for group tickets, however individual
transportation and lodging arrangements will be up to anyone
attending.
Current plans- A contingent of the Crew will be driving from
Montreal to Long Island by car on Tuesday, November 27 (see
details here for the Montreal piece of the trip). The Crew
plans to arrive on Long Island around 4:00pm and grab something
to eat before heading to the "Mausoleum" where the
Crew will meet up by the main ticket/box office entrance at
6:00pm. We'll check head inside by 6:15pm for warmups and the
7pm drop of the puck. The Crew will return to the Washington
D.C. area immediately following the game (expected arrival back
in D.C. by 2am).
Ticket requests (to sit with the CRC) must be placed by Friday,
September 28, 2001 at noon to be guaranteed a spot. |
