For our annual jaunt to the chocolate capital of the world, the Crew were treated to a game against the Charlotte Checkers, AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes. Though slow to start, the game became very tense toward the end with many physical altercations. The Bears were down 1-0 until midway through the final frame, when they were able to muster two goals against the Checkers for their fifth straight win.
