Approaching the Playoffs

The regular season is nearly over and I don't know about you but the suspense of whether we're gonna be in the playoffs is making all of us crazy. I haven't had to do this much math since college. But if they make it, we will surely try to put together a trip to cheer the team on so keep an eye on your inbox for any news as is develops.

To catch up on the trips we've taken since the last newsletter--Carolina was a great time and the weather really cooperated to make the tailgate party a success. It was great to see many of the Carolina-area Caps fans and even some of the local reporters stopped by for a visit. The preliminary photos are up and you can check 'em out on at the Carolina Photo Page. And if you went on the trip and still haven't gotten your photos to us, please do so soon. We're expecting to have the photo page finalized at the end of the season.

The Boston trip went well also and the train travel portion was interesting to say the least. There sure are some eccentric folks riding the rails these days. But our fellow passengers probably said the same about us. It was rainy and cold but most of the group braved the elements and took in a bit of Beantown before heading home. I think we would have liked to stay longer next time for sure.

That's pretty much all the news for now. Keep an eye on our website and your inbox for news about any potential playoff trips. They would have to come together quickly and it will be challenging to get everyone on board in time.

PLAYOFF TRIP NEWS 4/8/08

We have been able to reserve a VERY limited number of tickets for Game 4 on 4/17 and are offering them up to the list of those interested on a first-come, first-served basis. As the trip is close at hand, we will not be able to arrange for transportation.

Our seats are in Suite 16, the Flyers' front office suite, and include an open bar and buffet. They are extending this offer to us for the regular season price of $185.
The Flyers hosted us in the same suite back in November and you can check out the photos on our website for an idea of the setup. The view from the suite can be seen via the Flyers website.
